24 x 18 inches Abstract expressionism done in acrylics. Depicts a traditional white church building representing organized religion. The church is wrapped in the complicated feelings that many gay persons experience about their own religious experiences, spiritual beliefs and ‘fitting in’. The colorful array of gay flag colors represent all of these feelings.

My Background
I have always appreciated a wide variety of art. As I got older, this love never faded and as I prepared to retire I began to do acrylic paintings.
My Medium
I use acrylic paints on gallery wrapped canvas or canvas boards. I love to try different styles of acrylic paintings including landscapes, animals and colorful abstracts. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.
My Inspiration
My Inspiration
I enjoy traveling, being outdoors and I am drawn to bright colors! Much of my inspiration comes from places that I have visited and photos that I have taken. I am open to doing commissioned paintings.
